Psychoanalytic training is a highly rewarding yet sometimes challenging experience. To meet all the demands of this intensive training, we offer three introductory, pre-training courses that provide a solid basis for the next step.

The Introductory Lectures Series course introduces major psychoanalytic concepts and theories presented from a contemporary perspective in weekly seminars. It is aimed at people with an interest in psychoanalysis. The Pre-Foundation Course offers an introduction to contemporary psychoanalytic theory and the opportunity to explore how this applies in the consulting room and to everyday life. The Foundation Course offers a clinical focus through weekly discussion groups and monthly seminars and is geared towards those interested in training to become a psychoanalyst but who do not yet meet all the requirements for entry to full training.
